Perfect World Entertainment Developers Victims Of Surprise Lay Offs
It appears several developers working with Perfect World Entertainment, the team behind a variety of popular free-to-play MMORPG games such as Star Trek Online, suffered an expected trip to the job line this week following layoffs at PWE. The news comes following a post from Matt Miller, formerly part of Perfect World Entertainment's Star Trek Online team. We were unable to gather further details on whether this is strictly US-based or something more wide-spread, but we'll keep you posted as more news becomes available. So I got laid off yesterday, but on the bright side I have more time to practice for the $100k @HexTCG tournament: http://t.co/uvjE2lm1hg
