Grinding Gear Games today published a year in review article highlighting the successful path of the dungeon crawling, free action MMORPG game, Path of Exile. The award-winning free-to-play MMO game began the year in closed beta before progressing to open beta and finally launching in October.
During that time the game enjoyed it's highest concurrent players with 70,000 logging in to explore the loot filled world of Path of Exile. The developers also closed to doubled the staff working on the game and increased their customer service department 10 fold. In a world where a new MMO can flop as quick as a fleeting gust of wind, it's great to hear of one pleasing its player-base and remaining so popular.
