InnoGames have just announced the immediate arrival of one of the largest festivals worldwide, Oktoberfest, to their Ancient Greek themed MMORTS, Grepolis. Oktoberfest means one thing, beer, well I’m sure there’s some tradition involved somewhere but having an excuse to try copious amounts of alcohol can’t be a bad thing. An following this tradition Grepolis players must ensure there’s enough beer for their thirsty city inhabitants.

This involves collecting various hops and amphoras, both of which can be found either floating around the Aegean Sea or from farming villages. Those that pour their heart and soul into the brewing process will be rewarded with a variety of exciting items, including additional resources and improved spells. The players that can produce over 4,000 liters of beer will also be rewarded with 200 gold and an extra culture point.
