The week following E3 is usually rather quiet and bland but Tencent Games are doing their bit to spice up the post-E3 blues with the release of a brand new Monster Hunter Online Trailer. The trailer features the majority of the weapons that have already been revealed and some exciting encounters with new beasts of varying sizes. From the trailer it appears the game has stayed true to the foundations of the franchise, a welcome sight for fans worried about the transition to the MMO world. The success of Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate Edition on the Wii U should be all they need in regards to confirmation of interest here in the West. The game was credited for the huge increase in Wii U sales and boasts an impressive number of regular online players. We've yet to be given any official confirmation regarding a release in the Western countries and thus far industry analysts are predicting that Monster Hunter Online will be exclusive to China. Personally, I think it's just a matter of time before we see Monster Hunter Online available as a worldwide release, but only time will tell.
