Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Announced
The hundreds of thousands of people eagerly anticipating the release of the upcoming Guild Wars 2 MMORPG will get the chance to sample the games delights once again. The event is scheduled to begin just after E3 and will run from June 8th through to June 10th, also the same dates as the famous music festival in England, Download.
The developers have mentioned, much like the previous beta event, character wipes will not take place for this event, allowing players to continue with their previous characters. Very little was mentioned in terms of changes to the game since the last beta but we do know that players will be able to explore the Ascalon Catacombs dungeon, one of four instanced PvP zones that will feature at launch
