Rockstar Games today released the eagerly awaited Update 1.05 for the critically acclaimed MMOTPS game, Grand Theft Auto Online. Despite its hugely positive reception the game has suffered some serious drawbacks since its launch last month including large-scale reports of character loss, complete loss of cash and assets, and on occasion even deleted car modification and stats.
Recent promises from Rockstar Games means players will soon be getting a $500,000 apology but that update has yet to hit the servers as the developers wanted to ensure all potential problems regarding character and asset loss had been addressed.
Thankfully it appears that is now the case as the latest update includes additional measures to ensure characters and other important information won't be lost, even during cloud server downtime's.
