The Blacklight: Retribution developers have just announced the latest update for the award-winning MMOFPS title, Evacuation, is now live. The latest update introduces a massive selection of new content including additional weapons, a new character Lilith, premium servers and an increase in the level cap up to level 40. Even more exciting is the addition of the brand new Evacuation map that provides challenges for both new and veteran Blacklight: Retribution players.

“The visual theme for the new Evacuation level was inspired by the earlier scenes from the film I Am Legend,” explains Zombie Studios Level Designer Rick Lesley. “We wanted to try to capture the feeling of the aftermath following a failed evacuation with cars all rammed into each other in panic, heading toward the helicopter and decontamination area.”

Steam players can also login before November 4th to receive a limited edition Half-Life Headcrab weapon tag and those skilled enough to reach level 40 before November 30th will be treated with a Valve Armored Helmet.
