Final Fantasy XIV Celebrating 1.5 Million Registrations
Square Enix today announced that the recently released Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is continuing on its way to MMO stardom after attracting over 1.5 million registered players since its launch two months ago. The relaunch of Final Fantasy XIV has not been without its problems but the popularity of the Final Fantasy franchise and the dedication of the developers to deliver a truly exciting experience have combined to create one of the most popular MMO titles around today.
The 1.5 million registrations includes the NA, European, Japanese and PAL territories on both the PC and PlayStation 3 versions. Things are sure to improve when the highly anticipated 2.1 update (which includes player housing and PvP) launches this December before the next-generation beta event kicks in on February 22nd, 2014.
