Elder Scrolls Online Turning Buy-To-Play Before Console Launch
In a move predicted by many experts within the MMO industry, Bethesda today announced that the award-winning MMO will soon be making the transition to a buy-to-play revenue model with the upcoming release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. Beginning March 17th 2015 all players will be welcomed to enjoy the vast and immersive world of The Elder Scrolls Online without the need to pay a premium subscription fee. All current and past content will be made available under a new free-to-play model accompanied by an optional premium membership program, ESO Plus. ESO Plus gives players the option of subscribing to the game for exclusive in-game bonuses including monthly premium currency allowance, access to all current and future DLC packs and various other in-game perks. Following the buy-to-play transition, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will be launching on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on June 9th, 2015.Leave a comment
