Bethesda Softworks may have been a little quiet on the ESO front recently but during their E3 reveal they announce The Elder Scrolls Online as a next-gen MMO. Following months of rumor and speculation it is finally official, the next installment to the legendary Elder Scrolls franchise will be available on both the Xbox One and Playstation 4 alongside the already announced PC version.
Outside of the next-gen announcement they were a little quiet in terms of announcing any new features or mechanics, but offering the game to such a huge playerbase is nothing but good news for fans. They also gave a window for a release date as "Spring 2014" prompting a disappointing response from fans that expected the game to launch later this year. Expect more announcements during E3.
