eFusion MMOG GmbH, publishers of a popular variety of free-to-play MMO games, have just announced the closed beta date for their upcoming fantasy MMO, Dragon Nest. The game was originally due to launch at the end of last year but due to several delays, the launch was moved into 2013. Players can expect to participate in the highly anticipated closed beta on February 27th, 2013.
"Last December, we had to make a very difficult decision to delay the launch of Dragon Nest in Europe, temporarily disappointing many European players that had been awaiting its arrival for months. The main point is that we really wanted to fully optimize the quality of this fantastic game in its localised versions to meet European players great expectations. Therefore, we needed a little more time than expected to finalise the optimisation process.", said Michael Lim, founder and CEO of eFusion MMOG.
The closed beta will be aimed mainly towards the European audience, with the main objectives focusing on game and server stability, as well as the localization quality such as the translations. They haven't said how many players will be invited to the closed beta but we expect to have some news in the coming weeks. For more information on Dragon Nest, click here.
