City of Steam – Closed Beta Confirmed

Mechanist Games, developers of the upcoming MMORPG City of Steam have just confirmed the dates for the highly anticipated closed beta. The alpha testing ended in August and was met with huge praise from players and critics alike, with many calling it the MMO that the dungeon crawler genre deserves.

The dates for the closed beta have now been released with a series of 5-day testing phases beginning November 16th 2012. The full schedule can be viewed below:

Springtide: Nov. 16 – 20
Summercrest: Nov. 30 – Dec. 4
Autumnwane: Dec. 14 – 18
Winter Festival: Dec. 23 – 28

Beta Collaborator Packs are also available and provide a number of exciting in-game extras, including the ability to reserve your character name.
