Bungie Continue To Ignore Destiny Community
Today's deployment of the long awaited v1.1.1 update for Destiny has left many players disappointed following the lack of matchmaking for the games struggling Raid system. The patch was deployed earlier today and introduced some changes to the way players will participate in the Weekly Heroic Strike missions. The patch sees a mandatory matchmaking system introduced to the Weekly Heroic Strikes on all levels as Bungie felt the previous system did "not demand a cohesive cooperative group". At its current stage the matchmaking system will not be expanded to include Raids - one of the more controversial elements of the Destiny experience and one that many have suggested matchmaking as a potential fix.No, but we are keenly aware of the issue. We think good Raid sessions rely on groups of communicative players who are invested in each other, but we know that it’s challenging for many players to find groups for Raids and Nightfall today. We are thinking hard about how we can help make that an easier experience in future releases.
