Atlantica Online Celebrates 3rd Anniversary

Nexon, publishers of popular MMO titles such as Vindictus and Combat Arms, announced the celebration plans for their MMORTS Atlantica Online, as it approaches the 3 year mark. Celebrations will include a number of in-game events as well as a screenshot competition.

The main focus of the celebrations is the Battle Royale event that is scheduled for October 31st, all players are able to participate and up to 8 players will walk away with 100,000 Nexon Points. A double experience points event was also announced, including both combat and crafting exp bonuses.

Atlantica Online occupies a rare niche, combining both MMORPG and MMORTS features, the game has had a steady player base since its launch back in 2007 and these celebrations are sure to get things fired up. Nexon have also hinted at a possible content update following on from the celebrations but no official announcement has been made, we’ll keep you informed.
