Arctic Combat Closing – Compenstation Program Met With Severe Hostility
A short while ago gPotato and Webzen announced that their new MMOFPS game, Arctic Combat, would be ceasing all services come September 2nd. This means that all servers will be closed down and the game will remain unavailable indefinitely. It's never good news to hear your favorite MMO closing but that news becomes even worse when said game has been accepting your money via micro-transactions the entire time. It's becoming a trend in the MMO universe. Companies release unfinished games, open an item mall, and then drown under the sea of problems that follows. Webzen have announced that they will be offering compensation packs to all players, giving them the opportunity to get free premium items in any other Webzen game, an announcement that has stirred quite the controversy. I'll leave you with a quote from a disgruntled player.GO **** YOURSELF WEBZEEN KEEP MY MONEY GO **** YOURSELF.
