This week brings some great news for budding pilots of the Skein. Jumpgate Evolution has passed 250,000 unique Beta sign-ups since opening the sign-up floodgates last year.
Everyone working on Jumpgate Evolution is ecstatic about the news and we can’t wait to begin allowing those who’ve supported us through this phase of development into Beta, once it begins later this year.

Below is an excerpt from the press release which has gone out today.
Tuesday 21st July 2009 – Codemasters Online & NetDevil today announced that Jumpgate Evolution, the eagerly anticipated new space combat MMO, has reached a landmark 250,000 Beta sign-ups in North America and Europe and has subsequently become Codemasters Online’s biggest ever Beta campaign.
Jumpgate is currently in the Friends & Family testing phase, already providing select gamers with a chance to experience the game’s sci-fi thrills first-hand. NetDevil’s aim is that these tests will provide the community with the opportunity to change the game, on the basis of producing a highly enjoyable and quality experience.
