I bought collector & regret it very much… Game is slow & hard, nothing new but grinding & boring quests, may be that why was no free trail offers.
If you have money to spend on games better to play WoW!
Nice Graphics and fun game if you want to grind, grind, and grind. Flight is innovative, but was tough to hold my interest with end game.
Good graphics, great PvP, but horrible storyline and not much content…yet. Game has been out for a little over a year, but they are working on releasing housing, mounts, swimming, etc. They have increased the amount of experience you get from quests, so you don’t have to grind as much, but even before the grinding was nowhere near as bad as Lineage II. They’ve also increased drop rate on items from bosses. Either way it’s still not a game where you can max out the level of every class in a month and give you the illusion that you’re awesome at MMO’s nor does it try to hide the fact that you fall under the lazy category with much of the Western Market (aka WOW).
Currently playing the game right now and enjoying it a lot. The graphics are very good, with a well thought out combat system. The character customization is very in depth, allowing you to change virtually everything about your character with slider controls, from the height of your character and length of limbs, to the size of your nose, width and everything for facial and muscle features of your character. Combat is about the same speed as World of Warcraft, and both games are very similar in some ways. This game has a bit more of a Final Fantasy feel to it, mixed with a few other games. The music is very good in every zone I have been in so far. I have not experienced PvP yet but as said by Haart, it’s supposed to be very good. Flight was a nice aspect that was added into the game, but does not play a huge part on it. You can get items and additional attributes that add onto your flight time. There is a decent amount of grinding, but they are trying to in some ways get away from that. You can grind you character by endlessly killing monsters, but the faster was to level is by doing quests. Money isn’t really an issue other than players over pricing gear in the player auction. You get all the gear you need by questing though up till level 30, which is about the point that getting the higher end gear becomes important. The quests are more or less the idea of killing monsters, turning in the quest, killing more. But there are a lot of quests that require you time find a specific item off a specific mob, and then find that trapped NPC inside a cage and release them. The spawn time on the mobs is very decent, and drop rate for items that are worth something is at a very good spot where in an hour of soloing you will pick up at least 6 to 10 items that can be sold for a decent amount or be usefull. The game makes it worth while to make an alt (or 4 in this case) to unlock a special armor set at level 30 to use. The set can be transfered between all your characters so it’s not something you level 5 guys to 30 then it’s gone to nothing once that first character has outleveled it. Over all this game is very good in my personal opinion. I have been playing MMO’s since the release date of Asheron’s Call, and played most of them that have been released and require monthly payment. For community, style of game play, visuals and playability, and repeat play, this is probably my favorite game that I have played. There are things that could definitely be better, but they are making additions and changes that have increased the game play, and the storyline is well thought out. I would definitely suggest at least trying the game out and seeing what you think. Once you get used to the game and it’s mechanics you will find it’s a very enjoyable game.
