World of Ants is a new strategy based browser MMORPG that puts players in control of their very own ant colony and army. There's no shortage of free to play strategy titles online but very few have come up with an idea as unique as WOA.

World of Ants offers very similar systems to other popular browser based titles. Despite the unique setting, players are still able to do the usual things like trading, grouping and PvP but as the game is centered around the lives of insects, each feature has something unique attached to it. Resources are king in WOA and you will spend the majority of your time gathering them, you can choose to take a diplomatic route and trade with other colonies, send out worker ants to gather materials or take your ant army to war and destroy other players to steal their precious resources.

Creating insect research scientists is probably not something one would expect in an MMORPG but World of Ants offers a large number of upgrades and new technologies to research. You can research new items and buffs for your troops, improve the work rate of your gatherers or even speed up build and movement time. The quantity of available features to research really adds depth to WOA allowing players to find something that fits their play style rather than wasting points in needless areas.

In a similar to way most combat related strategy titles, you can expand your colony to new areas either by exploring and starting a new nest or defeating another player and taking that colony as your own. Having multiple colonies does make the game a little more difficult to manage but the rewards are endless, extra resources at a faster rate, bigger armies and more strategic locations to launch your attacks from.
