Windslayer 2 is a free to play action based MMORPG, originally published by Outspark and later closed down, it has since been re-released under the watchful eye of Ignited Games. It is a 2D side scrolling combat based game that can be compared to popular titles such as Maple Story and Dragonica. The game includes 3 playable classes, Archer, Mage and Warrior, all following typical MMORPG archetypes in terms of abilities and skills.

The combat is the most appealing aspect of WindSlayer 2, the side-scrolling aspect allows for a lot of really detailed ability animations, creating a very action-orientated experience. The graphics complement this perfectly and although it is 2D, the textures and designs make each level design flow flawlessly. Although it is called WindSlayer 2, the game includes most of the features from the original Outspark title, including the in-depth character progression, chapter based storyline and colorful characters.

One of the more unique features in WindSlayer 2 is the ability to set up and control player-made market stalls. These stalls allow you to sell your goods and items to other players without the typical WTS spam messages in trade chat, it's a very popular choice for players that want to AFK for long periods of time as they can still earn money while doing so.

Although the game is available, without content restrictions, as a free to play title, it does feature a slightly over powered micro transactions system. Players that purchase items via the item mall can level quicker, equip very strong weapons and armor, and overall have a huge benefit over those that choose to play for free.
