Unification Wars is a MMOG developed by Gamestotal. It has a science-fiction setting in which players must build and lead their own empire, grow a stable economy and increase their power through diplomatic or military means. In order to help the empire expand, ministers can be hired and trained.

A thousand years after the collapse of the governing power of the United World Council the alliances and agreements made to maintain peace start to crumble corrupted by greed and lust for power. The war-crazed empires now struggle to maintain control over the universe and over major resource sites.

The players can either wage wars against each other, and build their empire through conquest, or forge alliances to gain support.
