Thirst of Night is a free to play, browser-based RTS title with a futuristic setting following a cataclysmic event that has wiped out most humans, giving vampires the opportunity to take control.

The game offers the traditional browser-based RTS game features, players must collect resources in order to train units and construct buildings. Several unique twists are thrown in to compliment the vampiric setting, players can build blood farms to harvest blood from the remaining humans in order to train stronger troops. You can also gather more traditional resources such as Crystal, Steel and Concrete, all of which are used when constructing various buildings.

The quest system allows players to complete quests without actually have to unlock them first, you're able to complete quests of any level and difficulty providing you meet the requirements. This allows players to be able to progress in their own way and still being rewarded somewhere down the line.

Although you begin with just the one city, players are able to expand and construct a large number of outposts. Outposts increase your population limits, help gather more resources and allow you to train better troops. As well as outposts players can explore the World Map and attack various areas such as Wastelands, Human Colonies and Mountainous Regions, all of which offer specific rewards and bonuses.

You also have access to your own Gargoyle. Although the Gargoyle is in your city from the beginning, you must collect certain items and resources as well as overcoming several difficult challenges before you can actually use the Gargoyle. Your Gargoyle acts as a single superior unit that is capable of far stronger attacks than other units, they can also be upgraded and leveled up, learning new abilities and increasing in power as they go.

The game is available free to play but does offer item mall services to construct buildings faster, train troops quicker and train/build more things at once.
