Shadowland Online is a free to play browser based RTS game that allows players to time travel to different era's to battle against some of the most iconic leaders in history. Taking a new approach to the usual lonely world of RTS games, Shadowland Online is a new generation of social gaming that offers RTS players a greater experience and far better rewards playing together as a team.

One of the most unique aspects of this RTS is the dynamically generated Eco System. As you progress through the game and discover new lands, a new eco system is dynamically generated creating units, strongholds, resources and landmass. This creates a true feeling of discovery as you fight in an area that nobody has explored before, giving you the opportunity to earn new, rare drops or collect mystical and ancient artifacts.

As with most RTS titles, Shadowloand Online includes a hero system but with a unique twist. Unlike other RTS titles where you recruit other Heroes from a tavern or other constructable building, SLO allows players to recruit legendary figures such as King Leonidas of the Spartans and King Arthur of the round table. It is not a simple case of meeting this iconic generals, you must travel through time and best them in battle in order to gain them as your ally

Alliances are a heavy part of the game, players group together to take on tough challenges or protect themselves from other players. Alliance features include custom emblems, a collective reserved resource pool and even a system that allows Alliance leaders to pay their members a basic wage. As an Alliance you can wage war against other player strongholds or AI controlled strongholds, besieging either can result in your Alliance taking control of that region and being given the opportunity to extend your war efforts to other continents.
