S4 League is a fast paced 3D Sci-fi Shooter set in a futuristic environment. The game was developed by Pentavision and published by Neowiz Games in Korea and by Alaplaya in Europe and North America. It was released in 2006 in Korea and in 2008 in Europe.

The character customization system offers very few choices in creating an avatar. The micro transaction system takes over the customization layer and many items allowing for esthetic modifications are sold in the in-game store. S4 League has 6 gameplay modes available: Touchdown, Captain, Deathmatch, Chaser, Arcade and Battle Royal.

Touch Down – The player must grab a ball and take it to the opposite team’s goal in order to score a Touchdown. The ball, called Fumbi, drains the player’s stamina which makes the player unable to use skills. There are 10 maps for this mode.

Captain Mode – Players split into two teams and pit into a battle similar to Deathmatch, but in this mode the players must kill the captain of the other team in order to win. Only 2 maps for this game mode.

Death Match – Each team has up to 6 players that must fight for a pre-set amount of points or until the time runs out. There are 8 maps on which teams can play on.

Battle Royal – Pretty much the same as Death Match, the only difference being that the players aren’t in a team but fend for themselves. There are only 2 maps for this mode.

Chaser – In this mode one player is chosen randomly as the Chaser, the other taking the role as Survivors. The Chaser`s role is to kill all the Survivors within the given time window, and also Survivors must kill the Chaser or simply survive in order to win. The Chaser receives a huge attack and defense bonus which can turn the part of killing the Chaser into a pain. There are 4 maps for this mode.

S4 League has good visuals with anime thematic, good animations and entertaining modes with a large variety of maps. S4 League makes for an entertaining game and enjoyable shooter.
