Palisade Guardian 2 Modern Combat is a unique, first-person, browser-based shooting game that shares many similarities with tower defense titles. You play the role of a hardened soldier, prepared to defend his objective at all costs. Palisade Guardian 2 Modern Combat is based on several rounds, each round a group of enemy soldiers attempt to attack your base, it's up to you to prioritize your targets and protect your base.

There are a large variety of enemy units that can attack your base, adding a lot of depth and strategy to each round. To begin with you'll be faced with basic infantry, they move slow and do minimal damage to your building, but they can still pack a punch in large groups. As you progress through the rounds you'll encounter stronger enemy units such as mortar teams, jeeps, tanks and helicopters.

In order to prepare you for the challenges ahead, Palisade Guardian 2 Modern Combat offers a variety of modern weapons that will help you defeat the enemy assaults. You begin with a basic MP5, a quick-firing SMG, but can purchase more weapons as you earn cash for completing each wave. Each weapon can also be upgraded with an ACOG scope, greatly increasing the effectiveness of your weapon when zoomed in. Other weapons that you can purchase and upgrade include a devastating rocket launcher, an iconic assault rifle and the feared SAW.

If you want to purchase the stronger weapons for the later rounds, you'll need to bring all the skills you have. Each round increases in difficulty and adds new enemies to each wave, but you also get the opportunity to earn more cash for skilled shooting, such as a high accuracy rating or headshot count. You must also perform repairs at the end of each round depending on how much damage your enemy has done to your base but the main objective is to kill them all quickly, while being as accurate as possible.
