Navy Field is a World War II themed free to play combat MMO published and developed by SD EnterNet. The game occupies the unique genre of naval combat where players take on the role of ships captain, taking their ship to the deep seas of the Atlantic with the hopes of surviving a vicious onslaught from up to 12 players at a time.

The main aspect of Navy field is the ships. The game includes over 100 unique ships, all highly detailed and designed to be as close to their real life counterparts as possible. Players can purchase and use frigates, destroyers, battle cruisers, submarines and aircraft carriers. Each ship has its own set of stats and abilities, some being quicker at maneuvers but lacking in fire power, while others pack huge cannons but have the turning circle of a rusty tank. The huge array of ships means that players can choose a ship that compliments their play style, whether you want to be up close and personal or sit at a distance supporting your allies.

Each ship can also be fully customized in a variety of ways. As players level, they earn experience and cash, both of which can be spent either in the store or trading with other players, to unlock new equipment and weapons for your ship. Players can upgrade their guns, torpedo's, fire damage system, engines and armor. All of these components can also be tweaked to further support the players play style, you can choose to increase your armor at the cost of sacrificing maneuvering capabilities, or you can choose to take a lot more weapons on-board, doubling your fire power and damage but severely impacting your speed. The total control and customization of your ship means there are 100s of varieties of each ship type, making every single battle a different experience.
