Light and Darkness is a free to play, isometric MMORPG published and developed by Novoplay. Originally only available on the Mail.Ru gaming portal, Novoplay recently announced and launched an English translation available to both European and American players. Light and Darkness is home to an array of exciting and innovative features, some of which we've highlighted below.

One of the most appealing aspects for PvP fans is the PvP exclusive weapons, items and armor sets. Players can participate in intense PvP arena-based battles where they're rewarded with special resources called Valor Points. Valor Points can be spent on a variety of PvP exclusive goodies, unlocking a huge variety of deadly weapons and steadfast armor. Players can also track their rank compared to other players on the server, a great incentive for competitive players.

The world of Ryeh has been filled with confrontation for decades, civilizations torn apart, innocent civilians slaughtered. But now, thanks to heroes like yourself, the world is safer than it has ever been. Despite the fact that the wilds are still filled with deadly monsters and challenging enemies, the towns are now safe and guarded. Anyone can attempt to break the law in town, either by stealing or attacking enemy players, but they will be faced with time in Gaol if they're caught. However, even Gaol holds its secrets as players can tunnel out of jail or find a skeleton key to find rare items and escape Gaol.

Which force will you represent in the eternal struggle between Light and Dark? Will you side with the honorable Light side or do you prefer the underhand, devilish techniques of the Dark side?
