KingsAge is a free to play MMORTS game from the same publishers as games like Metin 2 and 0 Game. KingsAge is set during medieval times in a world torn with conflict and turmoil, the player takes the role of a King of their own kingdom, starting out with a simple castle, some settlers and a few acres of farmland.

As with most browser-based RTS titles, KingsAge has a heavy focus on constructing and improving the buildings inside your settlement. You must gather valuable resources such as Wood and Gold, and then use these resources to construct a number of useful buildings. Players can build resource gathering units such as Mines, Farms and Quarry's, to help increase the amount of resources they gain per hour, which will then allow for construction of stronger buildings. Unlike other RTS titles players are able to stack a building queue without needing to pay for any item-mall items, but it does cost extra resources to add more buildings to the queue. This allows for players to collect a large amount of resources for inactive periods, where they can continue to build even if they're not able to play the game.

Diplomacy also plays a large role in KingsAge, players get to choose what kind of King they wish to be. You can simply be a tyrant and attack everything in sight, or you can plan your attacks and alliances more carefully. As you explore the world map you'll find hundreds of settlements, some controlled by players, others are controlled by barbarians and NPC units. You can choose to align with other players and offer them resources and soldiers in their time of need. You can also attempt to convert NPC settlements to follow your kingdom, instantly giving you access to all of that settlements resources, buildings and soldiers.
