- February 11, 2011King Of Kings III - Review
King of Kings 3, developed by Giant Games and published by Gamigo, is an MMORPG with a typical fantasy theme and old–school feel to it. The game is based primarily on PVP with an extra focus on RVR (realm vs. realm).
In order to play the game players must first choose one of the seven realms provided, after which they need to choose one of the three base classes featured in the game: Warrior, Mage and Cleric. These classes can be upgraded at certain levels as follows: Warriors can become Rangers, Knights or Berserkers, Mages turn into Sword Mages, Conjurers or Wizards and Clerics can change their robes for those of a Bishop, Scholar or Priest. Characters are heavily customizable from a visual perspective, players being able to choose from a large variety of tattoos, scars and makeup. Even so, the final character designs aren’t satisfying mostly because the graphic quality of King of Kings 3 is outdated.
King of Kings 3 PVP features an interesting mode which allows player not only to attack rival members from other realms, but also members of their own realm.
Players have the possibility to join a guild and participate in guild activities. Once a guild reaches a certain rank the guild leader can then create a Legion which is in fact an Alliance of Guilds. A rank 5 Legion can construct buildings on their lands so that they the Legion members can benefit from it.
Despite its outdated graphics, King of Kings 3 is an entertaining MMORPG.
