Happy Pets is an online free to play simulator game, available now on Facebook. From the makers of the hugely popular game Happy Aquarium, this game offers you the chance to have all the pets you have ever wanted.

You start with your first room in your new house, where you can pick either and cat or dog to begin with. You choose their collar, bowl and name once you purchase them. By using in-game money (which you are awarded for keeping your pets well looked after), you can purchase items for your room. There are many different items such as wardrobes, televisions and various decorative items. By feeding, playing with and keeping your pet clean you also earn experience points. As with most games, it begins fairly easy to level up and gradually becomes harder. The higher level you are, the more rooms and pets you unlock such as horses, rabbits, turtles and hamsters. All these pets begin as babies and grow after a certain period of time. Once these animals are fully grown you can use them to mate with other pets of the opposite sex. If the mating is successful you will receive a package from the stalk! Let your friends know and they can bless the baby to make it grow faster!

For those extra special items and pets you can use premium currency (bought with cash). You can also use this to unlock rooms faster and to complete tasks quicker. Alternatively, if you add your friends on to your game they become your neighbors and can help you with tasks by sending you extra equipment and items via Facebook. You can use the friend’s option to visit your friend’s houses and entertain their animals for extra experience points. There are also options available to swap pets with your friends and mate your pets with theirs (as long as they are the same species and opposite sex!)
