Grand Fantasia is a free to download and free to play MMORPG developed by Aeria Games. The Day of Destiny is nearly upon us and you, since you are a Sprite Messenger, must train hard in order to be able to defeat the evil demons that will challenge you on that special day. Should you fail in defeating them, the world will come to an abrupt end. The back story, while lacking originality, is sufficient to give the player a basic reason to venture out and slay monsters. Why some these monsters look adorably cute is never explained and you better not ask.
From a graphic perspective Grand Fantasia looks and feels quite a lot like World of Warcraft. Models, from controllable characters to environment props and NPCs, are created following a cartoonish low-poly approach. There are four basic classes in Grand Fantasia: the fighter, the hunter, the acolyte and the spellcaster. As a character advances in level by killing monsters or completing different quests, the classes also branch out and specialize. At level 15 all classes are transformed through a specific class quest. The fighter becomes a warrior, the hunter an archer, the acolyte becomes a priest and the spellcaster a mage. At level 30 players must choose a path, a class specialization and each class has two of them. Finally, at level 65 all the class specializations are again transformed upon completion of a class quest. The final Grand Fantasia class rooster is: Templar, Warlord, Sharpshooter, Darkstalker, Prophet, Mystic, Archmage and Demonologist. PVP in Grand Fantasia becomes accessible at level 31 and is limited to instanced battlegrounds.
Grand Fantasia not only offers players an exciting array of unique features but it also boasts some of the cutest graphics ever to grace the free to play MMO world. Explore a world with colorful areas, highly detailed characters and some of the most intense combat this side of pay to play.
The game has some English translation problems and also some class balance issues that should be addressed.

argh…this game….its good in concept, but you have to grind like hell just to level up and get the good stuff…very confusing quests…non-friendly players….THE LOWEST XP RATE EVER!
i suggest if your a hard-core mmorpg-ist
you should play this game…. but if your in for just casual fun
this isnt for you
also you get multi up classes….witch means you can choose an different class at a bigger level…which takes ages just to get close to the level required….
Great music, cool graphics and the sprites are adorable but I suggest that unless you have a lot of time, patience and money to not play this game. Leveling your sprite is a burden, leveling yourself is relatively easy until level 40 and it just becomes a chore. This game is EXPENSIVE. Skills cost up to 46 gold by the time you’re level 45 and the quests drop 6 gold or less, 8 if you do a world boss. The sprites have a very high fail rate and cost a lot of money, so if you plan on making your own armor: be prepared. It is obvious that certain classes were favored when making the game (assassins, berserkers and paladins) and some classes are just so undervalued it’s a crime (wizards, sages, clerics). If you love player vs player you’ll love their battlefields, but be aware: the players are not very kind, especially in level 31-40 battlefields. In fact if you choose to become a healer, expect to be treated very unfairly and receive a lot of rude comments. The Game Sages are unhelpful and barely ever around, however, the Game Masters are very friendly and host really great events. Only one server has botting (your character automatically fights and its sprite heals it), without it it tends to be murder to level as it can take days and days. Overall, as the other comment says, if you just want fun, do *not* play this game.
