Galaxy Life is a colorfully animated, free to play, browser-based strategy game developed and published by Digital Chocolate. The game is currently in open beta but all features are active and there are no planned account wipes before release.

Galaxy Life includes a very active and narrated story, your race has been forced from their home planet that was destroyed by the evil Firebit. You've found a new planet to settle on and have begun rebuilding civilization, but Firebit has other ideas. Throughout your experience, Firebit will launch random attacks on your base, all with narrative and story. Sometimes he will teleport troops to attack, other times he sends in flying saucers to abduct your alien civilians.

Like most browser-based RTS MMORPG's, Galaxy Life has a heavy focus on resource collection and management. The two main resources materials are minerals and coins, both of which can be used to perform most tasks such as training units or constructing buildings.

The game world is really big, players start off with just the view of their settlement but each settlement belongs to a Star System and each Star System is linked with a Galaxy. A Star System can have dozens of planets and settlements and there are hundreds of Star Systems within the Galaxy.

Galaxy Life also includes a large amount of social features. Players can befriend other players and visit their planet, finding rare items and sometimes even materials. Players can aid each other in battle and even spy on enemy planets. A friends planet can require a lot of help, producing a large amount of resources and items, but you're restricted and can only help 1 friend a certain amount of times a day.

The questing system is also very thorough, players can choose to participate in settlement quests which include tasks such as building defensive turrets or buildings, or they can choose to follow the military adviser and attack other planets and Star Systems.
