Fist of FU is a side-scroller MMORPG with a humorous and lighthearted anime art style set in a fantasy setting. It was published by Outspark, the same company behind Fiesta Online game.

The first thing anyone is bound to notice is the lack of character customization – there is no option in personalizing your avatar resulting in identical looking characters. Fist of FU offers three classes to choose from each available in male and female form:  Fu and Ling are the Magicians, Xiao and Hu the Archers, and Shen and Wu the Fighters. Each class has two advancements: Magicians advance into Elemental Mages or Wizards, Archers in Snipers and Shaolin Hunter and Fighters in Swordsmen and Royal Knights.

Players can battle enemies in the instances and dungeons located outside of town, but there are no enemies outside these dungeons. There are three difficulties in which dungeons can be completed – Beginner, Expert and Hardcore. Unfortunately the gameplay is extremely linear and slow paced. There is also a PVP system consisting of arena battles. It has three modes: Team Competition, Team Deathmatch and Survival with up to 8 players in each mode. Aside from dungeons and arena battles, player can pick up a trade and craft, enchant and upgrade different items.

Overall Fist of Fu is a 2D MMORPG with a funny and maybe for some quite appealing art direction, but also a game that lacks design depth. The linear gameplay and the PVE restrictions make the game very repetitive.
