Dragons of Atlantis is a free to play, browser-based MMORTS from popular publishers Kabam Games. The game is set in a fantasy world of Dragons and other mythical creatures, boasting a number of features new to the genre and a dedicated community the game has already made quite the impact on industry critics. Although the game offers a number of unique features, it does lack in the sound and graphical departments. The graphics can be compared to similar titles a few years ago which is a little disappointing but some of the features make up for that.

When you start the game you get to choose which civilization you play as. You can choose from Amazon, Zolmec, Primus and Solerian, all of which have different designs for buildings, units and NPC's. Each civilization will start on separate parts of the map and all 4 have unique tutorials based on the strengths and weaknesses of that particular civilization.

There are 2 stages of building in Dragons of Atlantis, your inner city and your surrounding fields. Your inner city is where you build houses, research buildings and other important constructions. Your surrounding field area is for resource gathering buildings such as Lumber Mills, Mines and Farms.

Players familiar with MMORTS titles will recognize the basic Hero System that most RTS titles use in today's industry but instead of a typical Hero setup, Dragons of Atlantis utilizes actual Dragons as your Hero instead of standard units. Once you've built enough of your city you will be able to access a unique Dragon, the Dragon will protect your town and surrounding buildings and will also act as your main Hero unit. Your Dragon can level up as you use it in battle, gaining access to more stat points and abilities as well as being able to command a larger army.
