Dragonica, also known as Dragon Saga, is a free to play, 3D side-scrolling MMORPG game that offers players intensive, action-orientated combat and a plethora of extensive MMORPG features. Dragonica is the European version of the US title Dragon Saga, both of which have just been given a huge update involving new combat systems, a large change to the games graphics, and a new playable class.

One of the most defining features of Dragonica is the unique combo system. Unlike other games that require simply combinations of abilities, Dragonica utilizes a rare system that relies on players skills to input the correct controls in a short amount of time. Every hit that connects with the enemy builds up your combo meter, which is displayed in the lower right of the screen, the higher the combo meter gets, the more damage you do per attack. This allows skilled players to accumulate a large combo meter and then perform devastatingly powerful abilities and can kill even the strongest of enemies in just a few blows.

Another great aspect to Dragonica is the item enhancement system. Certain items are given specific slots, into which players can insert a large variety of items that will improve the weapon or armor pieces stats and abilities. Certain powerful items also begin with a curse, making them unusable, but players can take these items to a NPC that can remove the curse resulting in a rare and powerful item.

The unique side-scrolling combat mechanics, gloriously colorful game world and highly friendly player-base makes Dragonica one of the most appealing online games available at the moment. A great title to play for both MMO veterans and those new to gaming in the online world.
