In Deepolis, a 2D browser-based MMORPG published by Bigpoint, players will control submarines in an alternative Earth where the population has moved underwater. Like other titles from Bigpoint, the game enjoys a large audience, even though the game only supports two servers. The game was released on December 17 2008.

There are three factions from which players will have to choose:
Nauts – a neutral faction able to trade on stations of rival factions. Their submarines are the most balanced in the game.
Scion – their submarines are built in such way that they can support heavier armor, increasing their defense.
Jafnhar – the offensive faction of the game. Their vessels have the possibility of carrying Sonic Cannons.

After choosing their factions players will enter the underwater world where they will encounter several creatures with their levels ranging from 5 to 15, which will reward them with experience and salvage cargo upon killing. PvP is open – everyone can attack anyone. The only safe places are at the faction station.

Overall Deepolis makes for a decent, enjoyable game which will provide known features in a unique and special way. Besides traveling in three dimensions, several unique features will keep the players happy and interested for a long time.
