In Cultures Online players take control over Viking heroes and assume the responsibility of growing a colony. The game is a browser-based strategy MMO mixing RPG elements with typical city management. It was developed and published by Gamigo.

The player will enter into the heart of the culture of the war-hungry Vikings. There are no factions to choose from, except the ones created by the players in form of clans/alliances. With a total of six faces and several options of hairstyles, eyes, noses, mouth, ears, accessories, Cultures Online allows players to personalize their hero as they want to.

The hero can be trained, and equipped with different items. Unlike other games in which heroes only play a role in offense and defense in combat, the hero in Cultures Online is a must if one wants to grow a colony and gather resources. The gameplay allows players to have only a certain amount of actions per day. PvP is open - players are free to attack others, but they can also select a player to duel with from the ranking board.
