Combat Arms is a Counter Strike style, free to play MMOFPS released by gaming hub Nexon. Many F2P MMOFPS titles have been released over recent years with titles like War Rock dominating the charts but CA offers players a vast array of unique features and interesting additions to keep even the most hardcore FPS fans happy.

Combat Arms boasts a massive Arsenal featuring over 50 unique weapons and items allowing players to find the load-out best suited to their play style. Unlike other MMOFPS games, CA also offers players the chance to upgrade and improve weapons via the attachments system and the highly popular, Forge. Using the Forge gives players the opportunity to combine owned items with the chance of obtaining guns usually only available at the micro-transaction Emporium. This have proven very successful as it allows players that are not willing to commit real cash to the game plenty of opportunity to gain access to some of the games more powerful weapons.

Another interesting aspect to CA is the Roulette mini game that players can use if they achieve certain requirements in a match. The Roulette wheel offers various rewards from gun attachments to unique Forge options and customization items. The challenges to unlock the Roulette at the end of your match can be quite difficult at times, offering a fresh challenge each time you step into the arena. The more common challenges include achieving a set number of kills or disarming a certain number of bombs.

Clearance Levels are another unique aspect to Combat Arms, as you progress through the game and achieve a higher Clearance Level, you gain access to more maps and game modes. Combat Arms currently features 3 levels of Clearance, with the first allowing the use of 10 maps and 4 game modes and the final unlocking a total of 30 maps and 11 game modes. Many MMOFPS games are restricted by lack of maps and modes but Combat Arms clearly excels in this area offering enough content to keep even the most trigger happy FPS gamer addicted.
