Bloodline Champions is a free to play, arena title that fits into the ever expanding MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) genre. The game is developed by scene newcomers, Stunlock Studios, and is backed by the publishing power of Funcom, the same publishers that brought you Age of Conan and the upcoming, The Secret World.

MOBA titles are all about competitive battles, set in the most balanced scenario possible, and this is exactly what Bloodline Champions hopes to provide. Players take on the role of a Bloodline, there are 22 Bloodline's available, all with their own unique set of abilities. The combat is completely skill based, there are no random factors such as dodging passives or critical hits, Sunlock Studios have removed all of these features to make the game as skill based as possible. As such, every Bloodline's abilities are based in real-time, there's not auto-lock for any skills, offensive and defensive skills have to be aimed correctly and timed perfectly. Combining both of these features makes Bloodline Champions one of the most player skill orientated games available on the market.

The game is easily accessible to all players and has features that relate to all types of gamers, hardcore, competitive and casual. The matchmaking system makes it very easy for players to jump in and find a match within seconds, against players of a similar skill level.

Bloodline Champions includes 3 unique team modes, all of which are available to play 1v1, 5v5 and everything in-between. The main mode, Arena Mode, is a straight up team death match fight where the team with the most kills is victorious. Conquest, the second of the 3 game modes, features king of the hill mechanics with both teams fighting to control certain points of the map. The final game mode is Capture the Artifact, which uses similar mechanics to capture the flag.
