Batheo is a browser-based strategy game developed in Flash, set in somewhat confusing setting. The game was meant to have a Greek thematic, but some of heroes available for use have nothing to do with Ancient Greece, such as Robin Hood. The game was developed and published by Clapalong.

Batheo is very similar to other strategy games. Players are able to choose one of the eight heroes available to lead the army and afterward they need to build up their city, upgrade it, train troops, battle for resources and conquer to expand their reign. Construction and upgrading buildings in Batheo is almost instant, but there is a timer that controls how often the player can use the building system.

The game greatly focuses on combat. Players are able to arrange their soldiers in various formations to better fit the situation and equip their hero with special items boosting the army’s strength. PvP is open, but players can also join League battles.
Despite the similarities with other browser-based strategy games, Batheo manages to stand out with unique features as an original entry to the genre. Players will enjoy exploring the vast world, control heroes and powerful armies, raid, conquer and manage cities.
