Anime trumps is an anime inspired, free to play browser MMORPG that occupies the small genre of TCG (trading card games). The game is available to play in any popular internet browser and doesn't require any downloads. Players can expect to play as various characters from popular anime shows such as Naruto.

The game features 3 different modes for players to choose from, Newbie Mode, 4-Player Mode and 6-Player Mode. Although each mode is fundamentally the same, with different player numbers, the Newbie Mode is the most unique. Newbie Mode allows for new players to learn the basics of the game without the fear of racking up losses on their player record. They're free to join or leave games at any time, without any punishments. This creates a friendly atmosphere for players to ask advice, practice new roles and learn the basics of the other cards.

There are various card types, the most vital being Character Cards. Character Cards choose the role you have in each battle, they vary greatly and can include iconic characters such as Uzumaki Naruto, Kakashi, Gaara, Rock Lee and Jiraiya. Each Character Card is represented by a unique portrait, and each one has its own unique set of stats and skills. Stats are divided into 5 categories, HP, Attack, Heal, Defense and Crowd Control. The second most important card type is Game Cards. These cards are what players use to perform actions on their turn, each card is unique and can have many different effects. Certain cards attack your opponents, others allow you to dodge attacks and some even refill your hit points.

The aim of each match in Anime Trumps is to reduce your opponents HP to 0, you do this by tactically choosing cards to equip to your character role and then using your support cards, such as dodge, in the right situation. The game has a heavy focus on tactics and strategy so players that spend the most time learning their cards and the mechanics of the game, will reap the rewards of victory.
