StarCraft 2 is the latest game created by Blizzard (The very same guys who bought us games such as Diablo 3 and World of Warcraft). It boasts to have epic graphics and an online multiplayer and a campaign mode that you will not want to miss – and you don’t have to either! Blizzard has installed cloud saving, meaning you can save at home and continue your game at work (if you can get away with it!).

The game begins before you have even had time to download it, with a brief catch up of what has happened since the last StarCraft (which was released over 10 years ago). New players to this game will be amazed at the amount that has happened before this story begins – you are introduced to a universe of rebels, emperors, betrayal and most interestingly, two alien races.

You need to be online to play StarCraft 2, even in single player mode, however, if you do lose connection during a mission, all is not lost! You will not be evicted from the game – you will just lose the ability to earn achievements in the campaign. If your friends are also playing, you can use Facebook to hook up with them in game – a new feature which is keeping with the current times of social networking.

During campaign mode you play as a character called Jim Raynor. He is a space marshal veteran and part-time cowboy. Your job is to lead an army against… well… everything! It seems that everyone in the galaxy are warring with someone and only you can and your elite team of space warriors can stop the whole place being destroyed.

The multiplayer matches include 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and free-for-all. Cooperative matches are just as exciting as you join up forces to defeat the AI. StarCraft 2 is available to buy/download now – You will not be disappointed.
