CityVille 2 is an online free to play Facebook game. It is created by Zynga, who bought us other popular games such as CastleVille, FarmVille and ChefVille. Cityville 2 is a hugely upgraded version of the original Cityville (much like what they did with FarmVille 2).

This epic 3D game starts by being introduced to the town by the old mayor. It is explained how people are constantly on the move in this city and you are shown how to collect from your stores. You then progress to look at your beautiful manor. Not for long though, it catches on fire as you learn your next valuable lesson, keep your fire engines handy! Unfortunately, it is too late for your manor by the time they get there and you are forced to demolish it. The music throughout this rather dramatic scene is fantastic! It really sums up the predicament well.

Once you get going with CityVille 2 you start accumulating more citizens by building more houses. With every action that you do, you get a bar appear with a small amount of blue line in the middle. If you click for the swinging arrow to stop and in lands in the blue area, you get additional coins and prizes. Quests will appear on the left hand side of your screen, which will give you additional experience points and money – which is needed to keep expanding your city and building various money making buildings, such as shops.

You can add your friends as your neighbors, which is handy for requesting extra items. One of the most amusing features in this game is that to gain population you can simply click on passing cars and practically steal people to move into your city! Your actions run on energy, as with most games, which limits the amount you can do at any given time. It is, however, easy to win extra energy through completing tasks and leveling up.

Zynga seem to be the top dogs for creating addictive Facebook games and CityVille 2 does not disappoint in that department!
