When you start out you're given a deserted planet, a basic tutorial and enough materials to start building your first colony. Your aim, to colonize your entire planet and spread to nearby systems, with either diplomacy or military might as your weapon of choice. The game allows you to choose what kind of career you want to have, you can attempt to barter and trade with nearby human players, or you can choose from a variety of military based options. 0Game isn't just about building a huge army, you can choose to specialize in a certain unit or group of units, as each attack unit can complement another making them twice as effective. Your choice of Officer can also have a great impact on the success of your military operations. Each Officer is given a certain type and each type has unique benefits, perks or abilities to add to your arsenal, increasing the versatility of your army. One of the most innovative features is the ability to trade with A.I merchants. This option allows you to trade resources for other resources, so if you find it easiest to farm one type of resource, you're still able to fully construct your colonies by using the Merchant System. 0Game includes the majority of basic features you would expect to find in a browser-based RTS title. To progress you need to gather various resources, improve technologies and train troops, you can then choose to attack A.I controlled areas or player control planets. Following the standard RTS model, the stronger the unit and more useful the structure, the more resources it takes to build, including build recharge time.
