Defiance

One of the first ever MMORPG games that will be launching alongside a TV series, Defiance has been developed by Trion Worlds under the watchful eye of Sy-Fy. Defiance marks the beginning of a new era in MMO gaming as players can see their actions in-game influence the TV series, and the world around them will grow with the release of every episode. It's a tall order but Trion Worlds have never been the type to avoid a challenge.

Defiance will ship with the increasingly popular buy-to-play model, the same financial model seen in Guild Wars 2, giving players the opportunity to dive into the action without any subscription fees.

Players will be able to enter the Defiance world as either an Alien or Human, with each faction offering different routes through the game and different alliances in PvP. Both sides can also expect to have access to completely unique technology, prompting players from both species to know thy enemy before entering battle.

The game boasts an open-world experience rarely seen in the MMORPG world. Players will be able to explore a huge game world with few restrictions. Compete for new technologies, take control of new areas or gain access to the most difficult fights, it's all waiting in Defiance.
