Final WildStar Server Merges To Take Place
NCSoft and Carbine Studios today announced via the official WildStar forums that they plan on finishing off the previous server mergers that originally began in November. Today players on Entity, Entity-2, Jabbit and Jabbit-2 were informed that the servers would be offline for scheduled maintenance at 4am Pacific, 7am Eastern, while the developers performed routine changes and finished off the final few of the server merges remaining. The teams at NCSoft and Carbine Studios originally increased servers and capacity following the hugely successful launch of WildStar as a free-to-play title. It's common for these transitions to attract huge numbers of new players but it's also normal for some of those players to drop-off as they come to the end of the "honeymoon" period of the game and return back to other titles or on to newer games. As such the aforementioned servers have now been merged, promising more active activities and more populated areas through the game on those specific servers.Leave a comment
